Middle School Theatre Ensemble: What You Need to Be An Actor!
Class experience
This course is a weekly equivalent of a middle school (maybe high school or undergraduate theater course.) However, it's guaranteed to be a lot more fun! As an ongoing class, students will develop an ensemble of theater artists working together to learn and grow. The club members will determine our focus each week. Expected activities include: --working on contemporary theatrical monologues --rehearsing and presenting scenes between two or more actors from contemporary and classic...
Students will learn the language and skills of contemporary acting theories and practices. Students will learn the components of strong playwriting. Students will learn the skills of directing actors in scene work. Students will learn how to collaborate with other artists through consensus building and constructive criticism.

Homework Offered
