Description

Class Experience

Middle school is a time of questions, changes, and growth. Through instructor lead conversation and role play activities, students will be taught techniques and strategies to handle common situations and challenges that they may face in their upcoming middle school years and beyond. They will take the techniques and feedback and put them into practice through group role play discussions.

The following is a list of all of the topics to be discussed together by week:

The Cause and Effect of...

These topics are common middle school scenarios and challenges. My training an expertise in this topic comes from my several years of school counseling. I have used these topics and the lessons/discussions I have created (and will be using within the Outschool class) with my students in the school setting.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Some topics may be more sensitive in nature such as dating and gender identity. There will be a note for those classes posted prior to and another warning at the start of class.
