Class experience

US Grade 5 - 8
I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in History, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of historical events, cultures, and societal developments. Currently, I am actively engaged in teaching college-level history courses, where I apply my academic knowledge to foster critical thinking and historical analysis among students.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am pursuing a doctoral degree, further enhancing my expertise in the field. As a doctoral candidate, I am immersed in advanced research, contributing to the ongoing discourse within the academic community.

My dual role as both an educator and a doctoral candidate allows me to bring a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical teaching experience to the classroom. I am dedicated to providing students with a rich and intellectually stimulating learning experience, drawing on my academic achievements and ongoing scholarly pursuits. If you have any questions about my background or approach to teaching, feel free to reach out for further clarification.
Printables will be posted after class as a refresher and an overview of the lesson of the week.

Content Warning and Safety Precautions:
Throughout the course, we will be exploring historical events and topics that may touch upon sensitive subjects. While efforts will be made to present the material in a thoughtful and age-appropriate manner, some learners may find discussions about revolutions, wars, and societal changes to be intense or unsettling. It is recommended that parents or guardians review the curriculum outline and determine if it aligns with their child's comfort level.

Media Content Ratings:

Multimedia presentations and videos will be sourced from educational platforms and libraries with age-appropriate content. The content will adhere to a general "PG" (Parental Guidance) rating, ensuring that material is suitable for most audiences.
Third-Party Tools:
No third-party tools requiring additional accounts or sign-ups will be utilized in this class. All activities and discussions will take place within a secure and monitored online learning environment. Parents and guardians are encouraged to reach out if they have any concerns regarding online safety.

It's essential for families to communicate openly about their child's comfort level with historical content, and if necessary, provide alternative assignments or discussions to accommodate individual needs. The goal is to create a positive and inclusive learning experience for all students.
