Let's have fun learning new science concepts. Students will have a short lesson on academic concepts and vocabulary in this one-week camp setting, then review with live interactive games. Each lesson follows a different physical science theme. Students will receive a vocabulary list, note sheets, and optional material for the theme. Lesson 1 - Matter and Physical Properties (13) matter, atom, proton, neutron, electron, nucleus, element, physical change, states of matter, solid, liquid, gas, and phase change Lesson 2 - Chemical Changes (11) molecule, compound, chemical change, chemical formula, chemical equation, reactants, products, reaction, isotope, ion, ionic bonds, covalent bonds, and chemical bonds Lesson 3 - Nuclear Chemistry (7) radioactivity, radioisotope, radioactive decay, half-life, radioactive dating, nuclear fission, and nuclear fusion Lesson 4 - Energy (10) kinetic, potential, mechanical energy, thermal, convection, conduction, radiation, electromagnetic radiation, sound, and visible light Lesson 5 - Electricity (10) electricity, magnetism, electromagnetism, static electricity, voltage, current, circuit, capacitors, generator, and motor
