Description
Class Experience
There will be a total of 5 Meetings for One Week. The topics will be covered in the Physical Science area which includes Physics and Chemistry,. I will be using Google Slides, Videos, Lectures, White Board and Projects to teach Lessons. In this Class, students will study all the important Science Concepts required for the Middle school students to prepare for High school science courses. This is a Ongoing Summer Camp and covers important State Standards from middle level science courses....
Students will learn Chemistry concepts in the first two meetings. I will focus mainly on atomic structure, basics of periodic table ,and acids and bases. The next two meeting will deal with Important concepts and examples highlighting Newtons three laws of motion and Force. The last meeting will mainly cover concepts in light and electromagnetic waves. All concepts aligned to the State Standards.
I am a highly qualified middle and high school teacher Certified in the state of Virginia, South Carolina and Texas for Life science and Composite science. I have also 30+ years experience teaching Chemistry, Biology and Middle School Science in Public Schools.
Students will have assignment on Google Forms and also will have option to perform and observe simple experiments related to concepts.
Informal Assessment will be taken. I will also use Nearpod to check for understanding.
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
