Class Experience
This course will cover the Middle School NGSS Physical Science Standards in a hands-on and engaging way! Real-world problems, situations, and problem-based learning will drive student inquiry throughout this course. Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with other students and the instructor throughout this course in order to get the most out of their online experience. Taught by a certified instructor.
Students will be assigned various activities and assignments throughout the course. These assignments will include online simulations, presentations, and projects.
Instructors will provide learners with an optional materials list before the start of each unit.
Instructors assess students through performance and written assessments throughout the course, along with activities, experiments, and simulations.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
