** THIS IS A SELF PACED CLASS, THERE ARE NO LIVE MEETINGS** This course will be perfect for middle schoolers who are interested in learning more about personal finance. All of the information learned in this class will be practical and applicable to daily life, and suitable for an audience that knows nothing about money. Please review the weekly syllabus to review the topics we will be covering each week. Since this is a flex class, students can participate during the days and times that work for them! Weekly videos will be posted and students can watch these lectures on their own time. Videos will be anywhere between 15-25 minutes each. There will also be a discussion question provided, and if requested I can provide a link for a kahoot quiz each week. Important Notes : -I am based in the US. While I will try to do my best to explain concepts relevant to other countries, my degree and knowledge base are not necessarily in global finance. All examples in this class will be provided using US dollars. -This class is purely for educational purposes and NOT to be used as financial advise.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of basic personal finance knowledge.
