Class Experience
As a former elementary and current middle school teacher, I have found that there are several important skills that students should be proficient in in order to be successful in middle school math. ** Please note: This class is designed for students who have already learned skills listed below in 4th and 5th grade, and are wanting to solidify these skills to get ready for 6th Grade.** Each class will begin with a mini lesson of the skill through Google Slides, and then we will practice the...
This class is taught in English.
Students will master upper elementary math skills in order to be successful in middle school math.
3rd-5th grades lead teacher/academic coach (3 years) 6th grade math teacher (4 years) 6th-8th grades reading and math interventionist (3 years) 2nd-4th grades teacher (13 years)
Homework will be provided for extra practice each week per parent request, but it is not required.
I will provide the activity for class to print out 24 hours prior to the class.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some classes we may play Blooket to review the skill. I will provide the link to the website, and students will join with a game code in which I provide. While students have the option to create a free Blooket account, it is not required to play the game.
