Middle School Math: Everything You Need to Know. This class was created using the curriculum for grades 6–8 and is a good prerequisite for Pre-Algebra. The bulk of the material in this class deals with the Number Sense skill set, which forms the foundation for all future math classes. Frequency: includedDetails: Because of the small class size, it is possible to assess students during class to determine competency. If a student needs extra help they may be given some extra math resources they will need to complete before the next class.
Paper, pencil, crayons or colored pencils. I will also send worksheets and other materials out to students as needed. A headset or headphones with microphone (earbuds also work) helps to cut down on background noise and makes it easier for students to participate in class discussions.
