Description
Class Experience
Students will learn and become more comfortable with math that is typically taught in middle school.
Optional homework will be assigned once or sometimes twice per week.**I am happy to check individual homework and provide feedback if the student shows their work, takes a picture of it, and sends it to me via email or posts in the classroom.**
For most classes please have: paper, pencil, and a standard calculator *Items that are used only occasionally, but are good to have on hand ~ compass, protractor, ruler, graph paper *
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
We will play a weekly review game on Kahoot. Please make sure your learner knows how to use Kahoot before joining the class. You can either download the free Kahoot app onto your device, or you can go to www.kahoot.it and enter the game pin I give out in class before we play.
