In this year long course, students will dive into an exciting study of world around them. This journey that your learner is about to embark on is fascinating. Imagine... White Blood Cells and Viruses waging microscopic warfare The mystery of your DNA copying at astounding speeds A power struggle half way across the world between the King of the Jungle and Leader of the Forest All of these, and so much more! This class features a unique blend of interactive lessons that utilizes active learning, interactive games, hands-on projects, inviting entry tasks and all sorts of media! Your student will also be appropriately challenged to think, discuss and consider science in today's world! Mr. Patch Kulp brings unmatched energy to every live session. You can expect your learner to leave each lesson with 2 things: 1) Immense curiosity to explore the topic more and 2) Excitement to tackle another challenge with their class next time. I currently teach AP Biology, honors biology, anatomy and physiology and health science.
Last year, I taught biology, environmental science, health, physics and P.E. to middle and high school students.
I hold my Masters Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in life sciences and health.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.
