This course (Part two of four sections) will target students’ growth in the areas of writing, reading, comprehension, oration, discussion, and reflection. The class will be organized and taught in a way to support the integration of reading strategies as well as the expansion of vocabulary and critical thinking skills. Homework will entail vocabulary memorization, grammar practice, and out-of-class reading. Each week, homework should take around one hour to an hour and a half.
Learner progress will be based on both formative and summative assessments. The instructor will provide both written and verbal feedback, as well as a letter grade at the end of the course.
