This...
The goals of each tutoring session are for you to have your questions answered and gain a better understanding of the topics that you are struggling with. You will also learn strategies on how to study mathematics and become better equipped to work through problems on your own.
Cam will be conducting these math tutoring sessions. He is a third-year Engineering Management student at one of the most prestigious universities in Canada. He has had a love of math for years! Cam actually started majoring in business commerce but found the math courses too easy, so decided to switch to Engineering Management to challenge himself more. In his first-year linear algebra course, Cam managed to finish the course with a 95%! He is so excited to meet you and help you become more confident in your math skills, in a fun, relaxed environment.
Cam's goal is to help you with your homework and review previous tests that you may have had difficulty with. Cam will also help you study if you have a test coming up. He will not be assigning any homework unless you specifically ask for it.
Please bring anything you think you may need, to class. This may include (but is not limited to): - pencil - eraser - ruler - calculator - previous tests - homework - textbooks - notes from class - graph paper
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
