Description

Class Experience

Come and join our exciting middle school pod as we delve into "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!  This is an advanced reader course as we read at guided reading level Z.  We will explore vocabulary, read passages, answer discussion questions, and take comprehension quizzes in this class. We will also work on a project and summary essay together.  

Skills we will work on:  compound predicates, homographs, dialects, imagery, fluency, confidence, reading...

I am a school librarian at a Waldorf school, reading coach, reading tutor, and ESL teacher. I love teaching children to read and love to see their immense excitement with their successes!

Most of our work will be completed together in class but work we do not get to will be assigned for homework
