In this ongoing course we will meet to talk about topics of interest, play games, and get to know each other.....each one at their own speed...Shy or outgoing, you are welcome here and some wonderful friendships will form in time.
Class experience
Favorite shows, video games, current trends, music, school stuff, personal quests, and other interests will guide the conversation. I will facilitate each meeting by having an ice breaker, a pre-appointed topic and related discussion questions to get the conversation going or fill in as needed. Students will improve their conversational skills, social skills, learn from peers, have fun, and cultivate new friendships.
Occasionally, we might play a game that requires the learner to use a web based site (i.e. Kahoot, Jackbox, etc). The learners will need to have access to secondary device or be able to split the screen if using a laptop.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
