Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the essential ingredients of the 5-paragraph academic essay and the skills necessary to produce their own successfully.
I have been a middle school and senior level English teacher for more than 20 years.
Students will have homework following each class - developing arguments, planning outlines, and composing original essays.
Students will all receive peer-to-peer as well as the teacher's feedback on their essays following the marking scheme / essay checklist and feedback sheets that we use in class.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Worksheets and marking schemes will be provided during the class. Each of the four lessons will be delivered using a private YouTube link.
