Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of a specific English topic that they've chosen.
I have a degree in journalism, scored a 5 on both the AP Literature and Language exams, and consistently scored 34-36 on the ACT Reading portion of the exam. I also wrote for a newspaper.
If a student wants to take the course multiple times, taking practice exams and studying between classes is strongly encouraged. Students should have assigned reading passages from school finished before the class so that we can spend our time studying.
1 file available upon enrollmentI just need to know what books the student is using beforehand. If there is a specific passage or set of questions I don't have access to, sending me a photocopy or picture beforehand would be greatly appreciated.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Practice exams and practice questions have correct answers. I will write a summary of what the student studied during the class and what we worked on. If the student takes the class multiple times, we can discuss their overall progress.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Any mature content (if any) would come from assigned class readings from the student's school.
Test prep books (I like the For Dummies series), class books from the student's school, etc.
