Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8

This course will cover the Middle School NGSS Earth Science Standards hands-on and engagingly! As a licensed teacher,  I find that students learn science best through exploration, group work, and hands-on activities. Real-world problems, situations, and problem-based learning will drive student inquiry throughout this course. Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with other students and me throughout this course to get the most out of their online experience.

Homework Offered
Students will be assigned various activities and assignments throughout the course. These assignments will include online simulations, presentations and projects. 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed through performance and written assessments throughout the course along with activities, experiments and simulations.
