Class Experience
This course will cover the Middle School NGSS Earth Science Standards hands-on and engagingly! As a licensed teacher, I find that students learn science best through exploration, group work, and hands-on activities. Real-world problems, situations, and problem-based learning will drive student inquiry throughout this course. Students will be assigned various activities and assignments throughout the course. These assignments will include online simulations, presentations and projects.
Science Notebook (Digital or Physical)
Students will be assessed through performance and written assessments throughout the course along with activities, experiments and simulations.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
