Description
Class Experience
This semester long art class is great for middle school artists of all levels, no experience is needed. I teach via "tell, show, do and feedback" which is very similar to the "gradual release" model used in schools. Each month there will be a theme or central focus for the projects that the students create, all tied together using National Standards for Visual Arts. A variety of art supplies including but not limited to: paper, pencil, eraser, ruler, colored pencils/crayons/markers, acrylic and water color paints, air dry or oven baked clay, etc.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some lessons will require use of scissors or oven (for oven bake clay) and thus parental guidance is suggested for safety.
