This 12 week class covers most of the topics your 5th, 6th, and 7th graders will need to prepare for high school geometry (a great refresher for 8th graders as well). We cover the basics of triangles, polygons, angles, and circles.

US Grade 5 - 7
Math is funny, we typically teach a little bit of each branch throughout the years. This class breaks that cycle and allows our learners to explore Geometry in depth as it's own study. We meet twice a week for 12 weeks, and finish up with a "quiz" that can be kept for records if needed. We cover the majority of all the Geometry topics that are covered in the US grade 5-7. Letter or percentage grade is available for those who require i for records. It is only available if learners complete all of the assignments and the final quiz.Grades Offered
All learners should have a designated notebook, journal, or binder (folder) with loose leaf paper for this class. We will be taking notes each week, and referring to them often throughout. Students should also have pencils, and pen, a ruler, protractor, and a compass (drawing tool NOT a navigation tool). It is possible to do all the work digitally with virtual options, but hands on is best for the first time a learners explores some of the concepts. Calculator or calculator app is also helpful.
