In this 9 week course, we will meet two times per week working on one skill at a time ranging from multi digit multiplication to fractions.
Class Experience
Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and decimals, with word problem work! All are included in this math course, This is the same setup as my class "Multiplication, Division, Decimals, and Fractions Math Skills 9 week course, but this class will go at a slower pace so we can take 2 days to work on each skill. We will work on modeling of the different skills, strategies to work on word problems, and plenty of practice problems will be provided! A google slides...

Week 1Lesson 1Multi digit multiplicationMy lesson is about multiplying 2 x 2 digit problems, 3 x 2 digit problems, multiples of 10 problems, and word problems.Lesson 2Multi digit multiplicationMy lesson is a continuance from lesson 1 with more practice on 3 x 2 digit problemsWeek 2Lesson 3Long DivisionMy lesson is about dividing with 1 digit divisors and word problem work.Lesson 4Long DivisionMy lesson is continuance from lesson 3 using 2 digit divisors.Week 3Lesson 5Comparing and Ordering DecimalsMy lesson is about place value names that correlate with decimals. We will compare and order whole numbers and decimals.Lesson 6Adding and Subtracting DecimalsMy lesson is about lining up the decimal and adding and subtracting decimals, word problem work, and money word problems.Week 4Lesson 7Multiplying DecimalsMy lesson is about multiplying decimals and decimal location.Lesson 8Multiplying DecimalsMy lesson is about multiplying decimal word problem work and money word problems.Week 5Lesson 9Dividing DecimalsMy lesson is about dividing with whole number divisors.Lesson 10Dividing DecimalsMy lesson is about dividing decimal by decimal numbers.Week 6Lesson 11Simplifying FractionsMy lesson is about reducing fractions to lowest terms.Lesson 12Simplifying Improper Fractions and Mixed NumbersMy lesson is about switching improper fractions to mixed numbers and back to improper fractions.Week 7Lesson 13Adding and Subtracting FractionsMy lesson is about adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators and simplifying when needed.Lesson 14Adding and subtracting Mixed NumbersMy lesson is about adding and subtracting mixed numbers with simplifying when needed.Week 8Lesson 15Multiplying FractionsMy lesson is about multiplying fraction x fraction with simplifying options.Lesson 16Multiplying Mixed NumbersMy lesson is about multiplying fractions by whole numbers and mixed numbers.Week 9Lesson 17Dividing FractionsMy lesson is about dividing fraction by fraction.Lesson 18Dividing Mixed NumbersMy lesson is about dividing fractions by whole numbers and mixed numbers.
