Class Experience

The goals of this club is for students to not only learn how to cook great microwave meals, it is also a great way for students to learn basic cooking skills/styles, independently and creatively cook. My cooking club is a great way for students to cook in a fun, relaxed environment and to try new and exciting recipes. They will be able to follow along with the teacher and experience a fun and safe way to cook.
As a mom, I know how it feels when your child wants something quick and easy to eat, which is why this class is essential. During the summer months my daughter attended various cooking camps, because I wanted her to be able to independently cook kid-friendly meals, she enjoyed. I didn't want to worry about her using an oven or hot stove, to crave her hunger, which is why we turned her favorite meals into microwaveable meals (yum). Now, she’s able to use her creativity and cook her own microwave meals.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be using the microwave, parents may need to assist.
