Class Experience

Students will learn how to combine ingredients together to make a snack or dessert that can be shared with friends and family.
I have been baking and cooking with my two children for 13 years starting when my oldest was just 3 years old. We love to have fun doing cupcake wars and chopped chef challenges together. I am a certified teacher and have taught for over 14 years. I love children and how excited they get when they can produce something creatively.
Students can try different recipes outside of class and bring suggestions to class, if they want.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will often require the use of a microwave, parents may need to help student operate the microwave and take items out of the microwave.
The supply list will be provided before class in the classroom or a personal message to the learner. Learners or parents can pre-measure the ingredients this helps class to move along smoothly and finish in the time alotted.
Allergies to be aware of in recipes: Egg, Milk, Gluten, Cinnamon. *You know your student and their allergies the best. Make sure to check the ingredient list.* Please let me know if there are allergies. Most ingredients have a substitution like apple sauce can be used for eggs etc. You children’s safety is of utmost importance.
