During this class I will introduce learners to Microsoft Excel. Learning topics include: Understanding Workbooks and Worksheets, Column, Row, Cell, and Range Identification, Selecting, Moving, and Copying Data, Creating a Named Range, Inserting and Deleteing Columns and Rows, Hiding and Unhiding Columns and Rows, Working with Pages, Editing and Formatting Data, Saving and Closing a File. Upon enrollment, students will gain access to the lesson presentation. During class, I will explain each skill, provide a demonstration, then give students time to try the skill on their own as they create a wish list in an Excel spreadsheet. Students will need access to Microsof Excel (any version 2010 or newer) and they should know the basics of Excel: opening, closing, saving, identifying colunms, rows and cells, and selecting a range of data.

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet developed by Microsoft for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. It features calculation or computation capabilities, graphing tools, and pivot tables. Excel is part of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
