Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the basic functions of Microsoft Excel and get hands-on practice. At the end of the class, students will be able to name parts of an Excel worksheet, input information into cells, format cells using for date, time and currency information, and use the sum function.

Students should have Microsoft Excel on their computer or laptop prior to starting class, so they can use the program and follow along as I teach the class. I will be demonstrating with an installed version of Excel. However, there is an online version available at Microsoft.com, which can also work well for learners during class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Microsoft Excel
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
