Learn to be a Microsoft Excel Superhero! Join this class to learn Microsoft Excel skills that are useful in the classroom and in the world. In this class, we will learn how to: - Create a new sheet - Entering data - Apply cell borders & cell shading - Create simple formulas - Apply number format - Put data in table - Sort your data - Show data using Quick Analysis - Filter data - Print work - Find and apply a template Students will follow along with the teacher in learning and creating their own Excel sheet. The class will be set up in the 'I Do, You Do' format. I will explain and show the skill then the student will complete the task on their own. We will repeat this throughout multiple different skills. While we are working, students will be able to ask questions and comments along that way. It will be learning individually yet also collaboratively. No prior experience or knowledge is needed. Each student will need access to Microsoft Excel during this class.

Hello! My name is Autumn Richards. I am happy to be here!
I completed my undergrad in Fashion Merchandising and Business. I worked in corporate retail for about three years prior to returning to grad school to become a teacher. It has been quite a career change, yet it is so rewarding working with students and watching them grow!
I teach business classes (personal and professional finance, prepping for college, saving and spending wisely and more!). I am a believer that we are all full of passions and potential that can be achieved through learning and hard work. I also believe that finances are a basis for success. While it is not necessary to begin, it is necessary to sustain and is a helpful tool through life.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy walking my pup, kayaking and spending time outdoors. I like to read, workout and travel when I can.
