My computer classes are focused on being interactive. I teach techniques and demonstrate live, we do it together and then in the second class, they will complete the tasks independently. Students will interact via discussion. Topics to include: Create Spreadsheet; Learn Basic Microsoft Office Terminology; Formatting a Spreadsheet using different cell formatting techniques; Use Different Font Attributes; Creating Basic Formulas; Data Entry; Organizing Data; Change Margins; Changing Page...
Students will learn how to enter and format a spreadsheet. They will learn how to create a budget in Microsoft Excel learning basic formulas.
Practice makes better. Practice between one class to another will help secure knowledge.
A computer with Microsoft Excel 2010 will be needed along with basic typing skills.
Learners will be assessed in their skills by the ability to duplicate what they have learned from one class to another. They will learn and complete along with the teacher in the first class and then review in the second class followed by completing their own project ensure understanding.
