What will be taught? Students will learn the fundamentals of coding and electronics using the Micro:bit simulator. They will explore how to program LEDs, buttons, and sensors to create interactive projects and simple games. What topics will you cover? Introduction to Micro:bit & its simulator Programming LEDs and animations Using buttons for interactive inputs Exploring sensors (accelerometer, temperature, light) Creating real-world projects like step counters and reaction games How is your class structured? Each class includes a short introduction, hands-on coding activities, guided practice, and a small project. Students will progress from basic commands to building interactive programs using the simulator. How will you teach? The course follows an interactive, project-based approach. Students will learn through guided coding exercises, live demonstrations, and problem-solving challenges. Each session focuses on applying concepts through hands-on projects. What's your teaching style? The teaching style is engaging, fun, and student-centered. Lessons incorporate real-world applications and encourage creativity. Students will learn by experimenting, debugging, and improving their code through structured challenges. How much will learners get to interact with you? - Program the Micro:bit’s LED matrix to create patterns and animations.
- Learn how to use buttons to interact with the Micro:bit.

Sensors & Inputs - Making Smart Gadgets
- Explore built-in sensors like accelerometer and temperature sensor.
- Program the Micro:bit to detect movement and light levels.

Radio Communication & Final Project
- Learn how Micro:bit devices communicate wirelessly.
