What better way to get in the Halloween mood than learning to dance "Thriller"? Tell your friends and let's do it together. Younger students, older students, dogs, werewolves, everyone is welcome! After a meet and greet and some background facts about the Thriller song and video, we will start class with a warm-up and stretch. Then, we will learn the Thriller dance choreography. While practicing the choreography in class, students will receive feedback from me and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. At the end of class, we will perform the dance altogether. My teaching style is high energy and encouraging. I believe that students learn best when they are comfortable and unencumbered by fear of making mistakes. No prior experience is required for this class. The instructor will break down the movements and teach at a slow pace so all learners can enjoy. Halloween costumes are welcome.
Learning Goals
The goal is for students to get active, learn some dance moves, have fun and celebrate Halloween.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Please make sure the student has a clear open space to dance in. The student should come to class in comfortable clothing that allows movements. Shoes/proper footwear are advised. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
