Class Experience

Students will learn about body parts In Spanish through story, song, and games and increase their Spanish proficiency through exposure to vocabulary and high-frequency structures in context.
I have an M.Ed with a concentration in Spanish. My bachelor's degree was in Spanish with a concentration in Secondary Education. I hold a PK-12 Spanish teaching license and have taught high school Spanish for the past 10 years. I have taught online ESL classes to younger children, ages 5-12, and am currently teaching Spanish to my 3-year-old son. I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and have traveled to various Spanish-speaking countries.
Optional resources for reinforcement and extension will be provided after class.
Students may bring paper and coloring tools to draw their own friendly monster at the end of class, if time allows.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This story features a monster, but he is friendly.
