In this class students will learn about line and how to implement zen tangle to create their own cacti art.

Students will begin the class introducing themselves and reviewing classroom expectations. From there, students will begin the lesson by viewing different zentangle line designs and discussing what they see. Students will then be led in a teacher demonstration on how to create their own inspired zentangle cacti art. The teacher will begin the demonstration by pen and ink to create their patterns and cacti. Then students will use water color to implement color. Lastly, this lesson is structured to have an introduction, group discussion, demonstration, independent work time, and conclusion. Students will learn through teacher led instruction and group discussion. Students will walk away with some history oF Mexican cacti art, Elements of Art (Line), and a finished work of Art.
