In this cooking class, I will be teaching your children how to make a breakfast taco made with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, shredded cheese, cilantro, avocado and fresh pico de gallo in a flour tortilla. 4 eggs 2 pinches of salt 1 pinch black pepper 4 slices bacon 1/4 c shredded monterrey cheese 1 whole lime 4 pieces 6" flour tortilla 4 cilantro sprigs 1 avocado PICO DE GALLO we will dice in class 2 roma tomatoes diced 1 jalapeno diced 1/4 tsp salt 2 tbs chopped cilantro 5 tb onion diced EQUIPMENT non stick pan 6-8" saute pan knife cutting board 2 bowls spoon spatula tongs
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Guidance will be needed for the use of the stove and knives.
