He has served as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction in both public and private schools in the Boston area. Savvy has more than ten years experience in education, working in private, public and charter schools in New York City and Boston. Each week students decide on projects to build and will be assigned specially-crafted WOMPs (Work Outside of Minetest Project). There are more than 80 WOMPs in all. Students work on these projects on their own time. Before starting Metrocraft Daily, every parent decides whether WOMPs will be bonus work or required homework for their child.
As in our other Metrocraft classes, we use Minetest to build our city.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
