As a certified Earth and Space Science teacher, I have over ten years of science instruction experience. Teaching meteorology is a true passion of mine, and I am enthusiastic and engaging in my instruction style. I've been selected by NASA to present on its behalf to other Earth and Space Science teachers and at national educator conferences. I know you'll love my course! It is my mission to help students become lifelong learners. I develop a good rapport with each student with my sense of humor, enthusiasm, and the ability to relate scientific concepts to students' everyday lives. While many students enter my class thinking science is boring, it is rare that they leave still believing so. I've won numerous awards and accolades for my highly-effective teaching strategies, and I know your young scholar will thrive in my classroom!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will learn scientific concepts related to the climate, atmosphere, and weather. We will briefly discuss climatic changes in the last lesson and the relationship between greenhouse gases and climate change. We will examine climate change as a natural process that is constantly occurring but also discuss some contributing factors by humans. Please contact me prior to signing up if you have already taken my Earth and Space Science course!
