Science is about exploring, experimenting, asking questions, and having fun! In this class, your student will do all of the above. We will be learning about how matter behaves through fun activities and chemical reactions. They are all safe and use items you can find around the house. #1 - Colorful Volcanoes - Chemical Reactions #2 - Lava Lamp - Density and Matter Interactions #3 - Pepper Trick - Surface Tension #4 - Oobleck - Non-Newtonian Fluid (Solid and Liquid) #5 - Oobleck Stressball - Just for fun! :D

Supply List
#1 - Colorful Volcanoes Small glass or cup, vinegar (1 cup), baking soda (1 to 2 tablespoons), and food coloring. #2 - Lava Lamp Small glass or bottle, water, vegetable oil or other oil (1/2 cup), food coloring, and Alka Seltzer tablet. #3 - Pepper Trick Bowl or deep dish, water, black pepper, and soap. #4 - Oobleck Dish or large plastic ziplock, cornstarch (1 cup), water (a few tablespoons), and something to stir with. #5 - Oobleck Stressball Balloon and funnel.
