Learners will engage in cardio and strength exercises along with stretches/yoga poses. A combination of all these will assist in developing body awareness, gross and fine motor skills, coordination, flexibility and balance. All exercises, stretches, and poses are modifiable for learners without advanced technique yet. This class is a one-time option but each class will vary in some of the exercises performed so the class can be taken as many times as you'd like. Varying exercises and regions of the body targeted encourages growth and balance throughout the body. The course is structured such that we begin with a warm-up and end with a cool-down both consisting of light stretching. The sequence of cardio and body-weight exercises will be 15-20 minutes of the workout including transitions to a yoga pose following each exercise to encourage active recovery. Parental Guidance
All exercises will be age-appropriate and taught by a certified personal trainer. However, please be close by for learners to reach out should they feel faint/dizzy, excessively tired, or injured.
