In this math camp, students will practice adding and subtracting. We will also work on other beginner math concepts (patterns, counting by multiples of 2, 5, 10 and more) using an under water theme.

This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to identify and count numbers 1-20. Students will be able to identify missing numbers. Students will be introduced to simple patterns. Students will be asked to complete simple subtraction and addition equations. Students will learn facts about underwater creatures. Approximately 5 minutes at the beginning or end of class will be reserved for show and tell. This is a time to share favorite mermaid or ocean themed toys/clothing to encourage discussion with peers.
Having an abacus/counting frames, dice, or cheerio-like snacks are welcome to help students complete math problems.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
