A chatty kawaii-style drawing class to improve drawing in a fun, social environment.
Class experience
Learners will draw some very cute Mermaid/sea characters in the Kawaii (Japanese for 'cute') style. We will draw in real time and learn the steps for drawing six different characters (or more if time allows). Drawing skills that we will practice include: pencil sketching, sighting/measuring, color gradient, and ink outlining. During drawing time we will also encourage discussion among peers to share favorite swimming past-times. This is a fun art class that will allow for relaxing, and...
Students will improve drawing skills such as proportion, sketching, finalizing shapes, and color gradient. The characters we will draw are two different mermaids, a starfish, crab, pineapple, and a seashell. Students will also practice conversation skills and enjoy a relaxing activity.
