Class Experience
Join me in this 3 week course, where we read about this buttered toast loving pig! In this course, students will read Kate DiCamillo's "Mercy Watson Goes on a Ride" from the Mercy Watson series. This is the second book from this fun series. Mercy loves going for rides and wants to have an adventure. Boy, does she ever have a fun adventure one Saturday. Each student will be required to read assigned chapters outside of class on their own or with a parent. We will read one to two chapters...
After each class, I will provide some comprehension questions for the learners to complete on their own. We will discuss the questions in the next class together. These questions will help further the learners understanding of what they have read. *****Students will also be assigned chapters to read prior to the next class.****
Students will need to purchase "Mercy Watson Goes for a Ride" by Kate DiCamillo. (Either digital or physical, no audiobooks please) Amazon for $5 A handout that I will provide after each meeting that the learners are required to answer. A second device on the last meeting for an interactive game to the learners understanding
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
