In this fun, interactive 3-day class, students will learn creative techniques to quickly add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, large and small, in their head! In class, students are expected to pay attention and participate by interacting on Zoom chat and conversing verbally, if they choose to. Schedule: Day 1: Introduction/Understanding Mental Math, Addition/Subtraction Strategies Day 2: Multiplication/Division Strategies Day 3: Real Life Situations for Mental Math (Shopping with a Budget, Calculating Tip, Etc.) My teaching methods are very effective and I feel that parents will be very happy with the results of this class, regardless of your student's current understanding.
