***This is a flexible schedule class and there are no live classes***
You are free to progress through the learning at a time convenient to you.

This class is designed to teach new skills, consolidate learning and ultimately to make the learning stick.

On a Monday and Wednesday you will receive
> a quick 30-question quiz
> a short video to demonstrate a fundamental math skill
> a set of practice questions

On a Friday Mrs Jones will send you the link to a game where you can level up while practicing key skills.

Each week Mrs Jones will send your child a personalised video giving feedback on their quiz results

Each quiz is self marking, therefore you get your score instantly. During the month you plot your scores to see progress and celebrate successes.

WHY IS THIS EFFECTIVE LEARNING?
Brain scientists have discovered that some of the most effective ways of making learning stick is recall, interleaving and spacing. This class incorporates all three.
Recall is when you have to retrieve learning over and over again. This strengthens the connections between the neurones in your brain and makes the learning easier to recall.
Interleaving is when different topics are recalled during an individual day and develops mental agility.
Spacing is where the same topic is returned to at intervals over a week, month and even year enabling a learner the opportunity to recall learning at intervals over a week, month...and beyond.
