Class Experience

In this class, students will learn multiple strategies to solve their multiplication facts 0-12. Being able to quickly compute the multiplication facts is critical to comfort and success in multiple facets of mathematics. Knowing the multiplication facts gives students confidence as they move up through their math education. I want to provide strategies for different learning types to find a to solve the puzzle of multiplication in a way that makes sense to them. From silly songs to finger...

At the end of this course students will be able to solve multiplication problems from the facts from 0-12.

Homework will include completing the multiplication chart sections for that week, doing at least one timed test, and uploading the assignment to the classroom. Each student will complete this individually at their own pace. Homework will take 0-1 hours/week.

Please print off the multiplication booklet (I will provide this in class) and have the students watch the videos with the booklet. There will be instructions about completing parts of the booklet with me in the weekly videos. All of the assignments and timed tests will be there as well.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
