*Memorize Your Multiplication Facts With Me on Your Time

In this class, students will learn multiple strategies to solve their multiplication facts 0-12. Being able to quickly compute the multiplication facts is critical to comfort and success in multiple facets of mathematics. Knowing the multiplication facts gives students confidence as they move up through their math education. I want to provide strategies for different learning types to find a to solve the puzzle of multiplication in a way that makes sense to them. From silly songs to finger tricks, students will learn a variety of strategies to solve each set of facts from zero to twelve. 

Each lesson, students will be provided a video showing strategies to solve each set. This class will not have any live meetings. The videos will include how to solve multiplication problems the basic way (repeated addition or skip counting) and the fun way (with a new and engaging strategy). We will also fill out our multiplication charts together in the video. Students will view the instructional video each lesson and complete an activity to support their multiplication fact learning. Once the lesson's activity is completed, students will take a picture of it and submit it to me through the classroom portal. Interaction with the students will take place as I answer questions and provide additional insight with students through the classroom posts and chat. This allows me to provide additional support and resources for the students. Completing these assignments will allow me to provide additional support, if necessary, and respond to any questions. 

As a former, public elementary school teacher, I take great pride in making sure that every students walks away successful with the daily objective. Informal assessments will take place throughout each lesson to make sure every student understands the material before the end of class.

This format of this class is great for learners who prefer to not be in a live class or learners who prefer working at their own pace!
