In this one time class, students will compete by creating three memes to match three themes.

Memes are words and pictures displayed in a way to convey a theme. Learners will interact with questions to understand what a meme is and the basic definition of theme. They will be given three mystery themes by the teacher in order to create their meme. They will present the meme and vote for their favorite via the chat box. A winner will be announced each round. Accolades will be given to all students at the end for creativity and theme matching. This class is best for students who have healthy competitive skills and a love of memes. 5 minutes: Definitions 15 minutes: Round one 15 minutes: Round two 15 minutes: Round three 10 minutes: Conclusion

Parental Guidance
Meme themes will include things like animals, friendship, cartoon characters. These are age appropriate themes. Competitors will be asked to be gracious upon the wins/losses.
Memes can be done using google docs, PPT or other creation software but I can’t troubleshoot the software. Hand drawn memes are encouraged!
