This beginners dance class will introduce basic movements of hip-hop with a Hawaiian touch. We will warm-up, stretch and learn a fun and upbeat dance routine. During class we will take a couple breaks and make a Hawaiian Lei at the end of class.

Description
Class Experience
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!
No homework is assigned but practice is encouraged!
1 file available upon enrollmentWe will be making a Hawaiin Lei! You will need string, straw or macaroni or paper towel/toilet paper roll, colored paper, scissors. You can choose to add other items to your lei like!
Encouragement and feedback will be given throughout the class.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
