To further enhance your teaching experience, some videos are paired with printable resources, offering an easy-to-use alternative to Montessori materials. Throughout the course, presenter tips are provided to help you optimize each activityโ€™s effectiveness and make learning enjoyable for learners.

Our videos demonstrate how to create Montessori materials using common supplies, eliminating the need to purchase additional resources. Lesson 1:
3 Elements: Land, Water, Air
 This activity visually explores the 3 elements of nature namely land, water and air. The child will associate various objects and images with each of these elements and learn to sort them accordingly.

Living and Non-Living
 This activity helps a child understand the basis of life and to sort entities around them based on whether they are living or non-living. The materials are designed to self-correct the child while they progress through according to their understanding.

Unit 2: Exploring the Continents
Lesson 3:
Sandpaper Globe
 Sandpaper Globe helps children explore the continents' shapes and positions through tactile learning. Using sandpaper-covered globes, kids trace and feel the continents' outlines, enhancing their spatial awareness and geographical understanding. This hands-on approach makes learning about the world both engaging and memorable.

Jigsaw Map of World
 Jigsaw Map of the World introduces children to global geography through interactive play. By assembling the jigsaw puzzle, kids learn about the continents, their shapes, and their relative positions. Parental Guidance
Parental guidance and support may sometimes be required to supervise young learners. We may need help using various stationary items (i.e., scissors, knife, stapler etc.), or preparing materials before class.
Pre-Requisites
We recommend completing the Learner Resources module before starting any of the self-paced courses for the best learning experience.
Supply List
Materials and/or printables are listed with each corresponding video. Activities will typically require commonly found household items or stationary such as: pencil, eraser, highlighter, scissors, stapler, glue.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
