In this one-time class we will meet and conduct a lesson on the math topic of your choice to determine if my teaching style and pacing is a good fit for your student.

The content of this trial lesson will depend on the student's needs. I have the most experience teaching middle school mathematics through college mathematics, but can tailor instruction to any level desired. The beginning of the lesson will be brief introductions to get a feel for the student's learning style, experience with mathematics, and goals for online lessons. If material is provided prior to the start of class, I will guide the student through the desired material and provide scaffolding, additional explanation, and additional problems as needed. If material is not provided, I will find material based on the students' goals and experience with mathematics.
