Class Experience
US Grade 6
This 15-20 minute 1:1 session is designed to introduce students to me as their potential tutor. Our time together is informal, but purposeful. Here’s what you can expect: 1️⃣ Welcome & Introductions: I’ll introduce myself and share a little about my teaching experience and approach. 2️⃣ Get to Know Your Learner: I’ll ask about your child’s strengths, areas for growth, and specific goals for tutoring. 3️⃣ Answer Questions: I’ll answer any questions you have about my teaching style, how I support unique learner needs (ADD, Dyslexia, ASD, etc.), and what to expect in future sessions. 4️⃣ Next Steps: I’ll offer guidance on how we can work together to support your child’s success in math or personalized learning. This session is an optional opportunity to learn more about me before committing to ongoing classes. My goal is to ensure students feel confident with me and to help me prepare to best meet their learning needs.

I’m a certified teacher with 4 years of experience teaching 6th-grade math. Over the years, I’ve supported students with a wide range of math skills, from mastering the basics of fractions to tackling multi-step algebraic equations. I know that math can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I believe every student can succeed with patience, practice, and clear explanations. My approach is student-centered, meaning I adapt my teaching to meet each student’s learning style, and I make sure that every student feels seen, heard, and supported.
I love seeing the moment when something "clicks" for students, and I’m committed to helping them feel more confident in their math abilities. If your child could use personalized support with 6th-grade math, I’d love to be their guide!"
