Description

Class Experience

We work with over 100 different species of reptiles, many of them snakes, at New York's only interactive reptile zoo, Prehistoric World. In this class students will meet various live snake species and learn the truth about snake myths, medical uses of venom, husbandry, importance of snakes in our ecosystem, snake biology, etc. This class is discussion based and interactive. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
